2015’s Top 5 Christmas Commercials So Far

Ryan Willis

It’s that time of year again, the weather’s getting colder, and the arguments about when the Christmas tree goes up have started in earnest. We LOVE Christmas, and one of our favourites parts of the Christmas build up are the glorious Christmas adverts from retailers and brands across the country.

Here are our favourites.

Boots

Boots have really captured the spirit of Christmas with this year’s beautiful Christmas ad. Bright and colourful with some classic Christmas music, this advert really gets us in the mood for some festivities. Trip to Boots anyone?

Cadburys

Those of us who loved the Thunderbirds got a very happy surprise with Cadbury’s 2015 Christmas advert, with the return of that classic theme tune. And let’s be honest, who wouldn’t love a team of Thunderbirds who deliver chocolate?

John Lewis

If there’s one thing you can be sure of each Christmas, it’s that John Lewis won’t let you down when it comes to their Christmas ad. Always one to tug on the heart strings, this year’s offering is no different; with a tender message and sky high production values, it certainly made us want to send a gift to the moon.

Mulberry

What’s Christmas without a little nativity? Mulberry’s funny offering takes a very comical, modern look at the Christmas story. This one had us laughing loudly at those immortal words, “it’s just a bag.” Great work Mulberry.

Marks and Spencer

Never one’s to shy away from an extravagant ad campaign, Marks and Spencer’s Christmas advert is the very definition of extravant. Bright lights, lavish decoration and one of the biggest tracks of the year equal one of 2015’s best Christmas ads so far.

The truth is, all of the Christmas ads this year have been fantastic so far, and with over a month til the big day, we’re expecting to see a few more classic ads. What is your favourite Christmas advert this year?
